Formal dresses with matching shoes are the best option for an afternoon out, at a theatre, cinema, fancy restaurant - if, of course, the company is also formal. They will look perfect on every woman that is used to wearing this type of item. If you have been wearing jeans all your life and suddenly have got a job that requires formal outfits, you had better start wearing suits - they are easier to get used to. As soon as you feel comfortable in that suit, you can start wearing formal dresses too; you will surely be able to look elegant in one of those after a while.
